About Aidealy
Software is now written by engineers and by AI agents, faster than any team can track. Aidealy measures what that whole workforce actually ships - so the people who lead engineering can finally see clearly, and stop guessing.
Built for engineering leaders - CTOs, VPs of Engineering and R&D - running organizations big enough that you can't just eyeball how R&D is doing anymore.
The problem
Every engineering leader has the same two questions - and no reliable way to answer either: Is my team actually productive? And now that AI writes a growing share of our code - is it helping, or just creating work we'll fix later?
The old answers don't hold up anymore.
Measuring through tickets is measuring the paperwork - not the work. Tickets are never perfectly up to date. Leaning on them was always a last resort, because it was all there was. In the AI era it breaks completely: sprints lose meaning, a single engineer ships like a small team, and the pace outruns the board.
Dashboards drown you in data instead of answering you. The tools that exist today show endless graphs of activity - but you can't ask them anything. You end up flooded, not informed.
And AI opened up blind spots that no leader can see into today:
We started Aidealy because a problem this important deserves better than a gut feel.
Our convictions
A few convictions shape every product decision we make.
Code is the only honest record of what actually shipped - so that's what we measure, not tickets that are never fully updated. For you, that means an answer grounded in what your teams really delivered. (We complement your issue tracker - we don't replace it.)
We don't claim to make your team faster. We give you the measurement - clearly and fairly - so you can. The first step to improving R&D is finally being able to see it.
A score is an invitation to look closer, never a verdict on a person. You get measurement that opens a conversation, with the why always one question away - not a number that closes one.
What never ships doesn't count; what breaks production counts against you. We measure how engineers and AI agents actually affect what gets shipped - so what you see reflects real impact, not activity. A token count is a fuel bill, not an achievement.
Most tools filter the bots out. We count them in. AI agents now open, review, and merge real code - they're part of how software gets built, so we measure them alongside the people, on what they contribute and the quality of it, on the same footing. Seeing only half of your workforce was never going to be good enough.
From the founder
For more than 20 years I led engineering teams - most of that stretch as a VP of R&D and a CTO - so I've lived this problem from the inside. You can carry an engineering organization through the biggest shift in how software gets built - the arrival of AI - and still have no real way to know whether it's working. Measuring R&D from tickets stopped making sense a long time ago; measuring it from the code that actually ships is the only thing that still does. That gap is why I'm building Aidealy.
We're early, and I'd rather say so plainly. Here's what that means for you: you work directly with me and the small team building Aidealy - no layers, no hand-offs - and your input shapes where it goes next. I'd rather earn your trust with what Aidealy does today, and straight talk about what's still on the roadmap, than with a story that isn't ours yet.
If you lead an engineering team and these blind spots sound familiar, I'd genuinely like to hear how you see them.
Where we are
Aidealy is in early access. We're working hands-on with a first set of engineering leaders, shaping the product against how they actually work. That means the experience is direct - you talk to the people building it - and it means we say "coming soon" plainly when something isn't ready yet, instead of making it sound more finished than it is.
What's real today: Aidealy connects to your Git providers and to AI-assisted coding in Cursor and Claude Code. From there it scores your code quality and code longevity, and produces a productivity ranking of your engineers on what they actually ship. Separately, it surfaces how your teams feel working with AI and what they're spending that AI on - insights that inform you, never to rank anyone. What's next is on the roadmap, labeled as roadmap. (See exactly how it works.)
Built to be trusted
We've built to a serious security bar from day one, because for the teams we serve that's not optional. Every customer is isolated from every other, your data is stored in the region you choose - EU or US - single sign-on is included on every plan, and your code and prompts are never used to train AI models. Our security, privacy and AI-governance program is designed to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and GDPR requirements. (Designed to meet - not yet certified. The full detail lives on the Security page.)
Early access
Early access is hands-on - there's no self-serve signup yet, and a conversation is how it starts. Talk to us and a real person walks you through what Aidealy measures across an R&D org - its engineers, its AI agents, and the code they ship together - then gets you set up on your own. A short, no-pressure walkthrough.
